Hey guys, i just built another system.

So i go to start it up for the first time, and it says "CPU Has changed, please enter CMOS and reenter settings" Then the computer just shuts off. The LED's on the board are orangey/red if that helps.

Now, the Hard drive is brand new, the CPU is brand new, so is the mobo.

The CPU Is a P4, 3.2
Mobo is a DFI Lanparty Pro875B Rev. B.

any ideas?

Also, when it boots up, it says the CPU temp is 75-90 Degrees celcius..

Please Help!

Thanks

ok the CMOS problem is gone..now it just shuts off when it goes to go farther than the loading of the CMOS

says the CPU temp is 88 degrees celcius...

can i use a stock heatsink from a P4 3.0?

Try reseating the CPU and HSF.

If it still doesn't work, try putting another CPU on the board (if you have one).
