new cs:s server for work friends

i had one set up a while back, but it has been so long, i forgot which mod system i used for it.

I am in costa rica and had set up a dedicated box at work for some work mates, i am working with the idea of a company wide competition, company has about... 500+ employees and i know of at least 40 people who play cs:s

If i were to set up the ultimate cs:s server, how would you do it?

i am thinking a few options

1. GunGame server
2. standard server


but i want map voting, stats tracking and so on on each one..

Map voting comes with the mani_admin pack that you have to install into the server cfg file if i remember right. Same with zblock and lo3. Back when I made my dedicated server I used this tutorial and it worked great. Hope it does the same for you.

mani mod!! that was the one i couldnt remember!

i know the other mod has it's pros and cons but i recall mani mod was the main one people used..

Can't go wrong with mani admin when running a pub server.

I had one badass CSS server before the huge update broke it. Now I just dont want to be bothered putting all the mods back in.

I just run the iceworld maps. love em.

i can understand that,Valve always seems to like to piss off the custom server scene, they do it with TF2 alll the timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee


i dont mind now as once it is set up it should be golden.
