I just got done RMAing my sl6wf Malay 2.4ghz, and now the new one they sent me is an sl6wf China, and it doesn't overclock anywhere near what my old one did. I hit 3.4ghz on my old one stable, and here I can't even do a measily 250fsb without my pc rebooting. Anything I can do about this? Like maybe shit it back and tell them to send me a chip made in malaysia, or atleast something better, maybe one made in costa rica. My friend nick is having some good experiences with his, hitting 300fsb+.

You've got to be Fu$&@#% kidding me.
You want to send back a 2.4 because it wouldn't overclock as good as your old one? You killed the last one and your OC'ing the crap out of this one and you want to send it back. That's insane. Buy a higher end processor if your not happy with the out of box speed it gives you.
You've got a 2.4GHz, and that's all Intel guarantee's you'll get. Anything you get over the advertised clock speed is icing on the cake. To say that a CPU sucks because it doesn't do something it's officially not supposed to do is unreasonable. I had a 2.4GHz that wouldn't do over 2.6GHz. You could do worse.
Overclocking is what the term means. You ran a processor "OVER" it's intended "CLOCK" speed.
OC'ing is luck of the draw man. You win some and you loose some. And while your getting pissed at your processor do remember that you had to RMA your old one because ti died. Bear this in mind when selecting a CPU. In my opinion you should buy a CPU that's performance is something you can live with at it's default speeds. Anything you get over that is bonus.
