garage built direct die phase change time...
^115v condensing unit that will prolly be filled with R404a.
It should be at least 2x as powerful as any of the commercial phase change systems (i.e. vapo or prommie)
this one will be fully enclosed with the rest of the components.
what kind of case do you use for such a thing?
a reclaimed VPS server cabinet of course...
note the 4 bay midtower in the lower left of the pic....its that box that is being dwarfed by the server cabinet.
the silver enclosure on top of the cabinet is the PSU that I am planning on using to run a lot of the various gear. it is a Lambda industrial Wattbox (1200watts).
I am in the middle of redesigning my evaporator for the phase change system but it will be something close to the last one I built:
northbridge cooling?
the new H2O+TEC block is almost finished -- I brazed it together last weekend between trips to the beer frig and I got the insulation added tonight.
1/2" fittings, 80w TEC, double insulated...and a crappy hacked from plexi mounting plate for testing purposes.
GPU cooling = the next phase of this craziness.
