New computer startup problem (SATA)

I'm in the process of getting my new computer up and running (1st build), but I've run into a bit of a snag. Everything works fine up until I try to install XP. I hit F6 to install the SATA drivers, then hit S and plop in the floppy. It successfully copies the files and continues preparation for the install.
Then, when a window comes up stating to press Enter to begin installation. I press Enter and it says that Windows cannot detect a hard disk. Check to make sure that you have power going to the hard disk, etc. etc.

I'm absolutely stumped, am I missing something simple here?

Specs:
Asus A8V Deluxe
1 Samsung 120 GB sata hd

Disable Legacy USB Support in BIOS. Don't ask me why, but it worked for me when I had the same issue on a different mobo.
 
The Legacy USB thing didn't work. :(

Two SATA controllers? I'm confused... (note that I'm a n00b to this stuff)
 
Plugged the sata cable into the other connector and everything's working like a charm.
