Check signature for specs. My raptor drive shows up under "Safely Remove Hardware", why does it show up there?
 
Its a SATA drive and is considered " hot swappable" ..If the icon bothers you, you can turn it off.....( I turned mine off ) :)
 
Well, if you're using the SATA power connector, and your motherboard supports "hot swap" features for SATA (I believe it does) it would certainly explain it :p
 
I have one SATA drive, and windows likes to periodically pop a window up just to inform me that it was plugged in (note: it's never been unplugged) :rolleyes:

But anyways, yes, you're seeing that because it's hot-swapable.
 
I believe this to be a bug with Nvidia drivers. Under certain circumstances, hot swapping a SATA drive wouldn't be that bad. However, you should NOT be able to "safely" remove a drive containing your active/boot partition. Nvidia has some work to do on their drivers I see (NCQ issues as well).
