It's incredibly comfortable, and it's something I could see lasting for plenty of time. For comparison, I sat on an Aeron that was right next to it, and I wasn't too impressed by its comfort after sitting on the Lane chair. I wish I could find you a link on Costco's website, but I havent had any such luck.

Just out of curiousity, how do you think this thing would stand up to a big old fatty sitting in it? (I am 6 ft between 350 and 400, yes I know) and need a comfy chair for work. The one they bought me is like a midget torture device.
 
Update. I had a second look at the lane chair with the intent to buy, I was quite dissapointed when I started poking around and looking at the overall quality, basically it's the same as the $99 executive managers chairs at office max that you can get for $29 after rebates... except with more style and dressings. Same shit diffrent pile. I also had a second look at the Aeron (okay well more like 5th) and the quality keeps me coming back.


So yeah, my Herman Miller Aeron arrives tomorrow :)
 
I found a decent cheap knockoff of the more expensive "elastic-mesh seat and back with lumbar support and adjustable headrest" chairs at officemax for $129.98. It has a 1yr warranty which you can extend to 3yr for another $20 if you want. The back also reclines and locks at whatever angle you want.
