Corsair Value Select 184-pin DDR 256mb
Swiftech MCX462-V
Sunon 92mm fan

They look all right to me, though depending on what you're doing you may want more RAM than that.

What video card do you have in mind?

i would go with a 35 watt 2400+ or a 45w 2600+...

i 2nd that you need more ram... you can save money by getting the shuttle an35 ultra mobo.. but get a 512 stick of ram.. the mushkin pc3200 is always around $80..

i already have a video card though i believe it has bad memory as somebody thought on my thread trying to determine what was wrong with it. will save up for a later time. yea, i am thinking about buying another stick of 256 ram, but i think i will stick with the processor, unless you can give me a good reason why i should go with the 2600+

the 2500+ mobile is the worst price for performance of all the mobiles.. it is $92 right now.. the 2400+ 45w is only $77... it is 1.8ghz vs 1.83ghz for the 2500+.. i don't see any reason to spend that much more for .03ghz.. (this really isn't relevant though becasue they all will be overclocked...) anyways... peopel are having the best luck with the 2400+ 35 watt and the 2600+ 45 watt

the 35 watt cpus start at 1.35v instead of 1.45v.. so they have even more voltage headroom..

i got a 2200+ 35w.. and i am extremely happy with it... i got it becasue newegg doesn't list the 2400+ right.. just click "browse by brand" then click amd... it is usually near the bottom of the first page..

so here is what i say...
cough up $7 more for this: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=19-103-436&depa=0

or get this:

you really can't go wrong with any mobile XP's... but those are the best 2 in most people's opinions.. you can always get a 2200+ 35 watt or a 2400+ 45watt and still probably hit at least 2.4ghz.. for only $77, but it is probably better to spend an extra $10 or $20 to get those speeds pretty much guarunteed..

thanks for the info, i'll be deabitng with myself and my brother on which of the other 2 to go with. i would like to be guaranteed an overclcoked speed of at least 2.4 or 2.5, and i would also like to hit the 2.6 mark, i know the heatsink will be able to keep it cool thanks to the 2 or 3 reviews i've read on it.
