Does anyone have an idea when the new catalyst drivers will be released? And also if that very same release will support dongless xfire with the x1800 gto's?

they just released Cat 6.4s recently so not for another month i'd think

Dongleless crossfire is purely speculation at this point. ATI has officially said that there will be no dongleless crossfire for the X1800+, although there have been leaks that they might get it to work with the Xpress 3200.

I would hope they would try and push for a dongless Crossfire for the new southbridge or at least new card (granted that may take awhile).

New drivers, hell they need to fix the current ones
Yeah, I rolled back to 6.3. I wasn't having any issues with 6.4 expect for the fact that Widows wasn't seeing them and everytime I turned on my PC it would "search" for drivers and then when I canceled it coutinued to tell me my hardware would not function properly. Just got kind of annoying and I didn't see any performance increase with 6.4 anyway.

I went back as well, I do hope ATi is working on them and will get them to us soon.
