You should refinish the case, looks like it's gone through alot. :p
It's a shame you had to hack it apart though, I always hate when irreplaceable things get destroyed (classic autos in action movies anyone? T_T)
Not bad though, I definitely like the retro look and it would make one hell of a htpc in an antique themed room.

PS: Did you leave the little plastic covering on top of your gfx card or is the sticker peeling?
 
i like that .. nice old radio .. if my mother seen that she would cry.. she has about 300 old radios lol
 
I put the project off for quite a while because I had to stretch the case to fit the MB. I did save the origional sticker on the bottom.
That's a black IDE cable for the DVD RW.

The duck tape will disappear once I finish getting everything secured.

I update the gallery as I complete more of it.
 
cool idea, but like the others said you may want to refinish the wood, it isnt all that appealing with the condition its in.
 
I might get flamed for saying I watched/attended the Antique Roadshow...
But anyhow, I saw a radio just like that go for nearly $2000 the last time the show came to Houston..

But it didn't have a computer in it :D
