I'm building a new system using an Asus P6T6 Revolution motherboard but I'm thinking of using the Thermaltake Xaser V Damier case that my old Athlon 64 MSI motherboard is residing in. Since I've been away from building for a few (OK, 5 ) years I'm wondering if there is any downside to reusing it. I'm thinking of an Enermax 1050 Revolution powersupply for this. Any thoughts??

Only concern with older cases is their airflow and ability to cool an i7 adequately.

most older cases have 80mm as the standard instead of the 120mm now. I guess it won't be a problem for you if you don't mind a fair amount of noise. Personally I'd get a new case, esp. for i7.
