New Case, Easy to Work With

Got my new case today, and got everything in. Very easy to work with, and no modding needed to install a competant cooling system.

Excuse the T, I'm waiting on a bay res and new tubing... btw, what do you guys think of PC-ICE for coolant?

Side note: the power buttons feel pretty cheap.
 
What CPU cooler is that, very sharp.

The HDD is in the top left where a PSU would normally be, correct??

Yes and yes... very pleased with the block. Exceptional quality.

I have the GTX cooler and I really like it.
The only thing that was a bit tedious was the bracket that goes on the back on the MB. The folks at Swiftech just hadn't worked with it long enough when I got mine and the screws didn't work very well. (I had plain M3 screws) That thumbscrew looks really nice and easy to use.:D

I ended up using the older bolt and spring that inserted through from the back of the board, with out using the bracket. It works fine.

That new cooler looks really nice.....I hope they make the same one when the next generation of Intel CPUs are launched.
 
Gotta keep in mind I like my pc quiet, so I was using very low speed fans in the case and on the true... but I'm still doing so. Every fan in my pc is at 7V, besides the northbridge is throttled to ~46%.
 
Interesting location for your T line. Normally most pump vendors recommend the T line be before the pump inlet. What made you put it before the radiator? Just curious.
 
Because placement before the pump would definately result in kinking, and it's difficult to bleed this radiator, but this way the radiator is full-ish when initially powering the pump.

I can see, in theory, less back pressure when putting the t before the pump (like I've always done). However, thinking this is a closed loop with no resevoir, or place for air to gather (in theory), while the pump is pushing coolant through the system it's forcing it back in the pump's inlet... if that makes sense.

...and it makes things cleaner...

Keep on mind if you remove that heatsink (if thats what you are reffering to) you lose the entire pipe system for the rest of the board. Makes watercooling a chipset a pain in these cases.
