New case choices

I don't know about the Antec but I own a HAF 932. The cooling
is exceptional. Three 230mm fans moving air around really does
the trick. They are very quiet as well!

I had no idea that Id be so angry after reading this topic

I bought an antec 1200 2 years ago I think, and its been driving me nuts, the side window I hate. front air filters that are labor intensive to clean, painful installation of hardrives, and now I see that this case is very much improved and I think it beats the haf. if only they had that case back then. (maybe except that none of these cases look nice, including my 1200)

:D

I would go with the CM but that's me. Both cases cool well, the HAF looks better.

I've got some experience with this case, built a rig for a friend with it. The cooling is really very good, and most importantly its quiet! The Antec you chose is going to be tangibly louder, and in my opinion butt ugly. :D

HAF. I am Sold that a HAF is going to be my next case (Probably the X).

I'm stuck, I want to get a new case after noticing the temps on my current one seem a bit warm. but I'm torn between.this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119160
or this one

anyone have either of these? comments welcome. will be picking one of them at the end of the month.

Instead of the 932...
Haf-x for the same

Depending on where you are, it could be even less money. And it's certainly a better case.

Personally I do prefer the aesthetics of the atcs 840.... Since I water cool, the side fan isn't as useful.

I hope that the atcs gets a similar refresh, but it seems unlikely.

lol wow, no one siding with the antec. to be honest I have always been an antec guy but I was leaning heavily towards the coolermaster to begin with. i got to see the df earlier this year on my first trip to fry's but had written it off as the center fain fell off in my hand. it wasn't till i got home and was telling a friend about it that i even realized it was a antec. thought i should give them a second chance since it was a display model and peeps tend to abuse the hell out of them. (see laptops in bestbuy). i built my friends pc a few weeks before i built mine and he got the HAF 922 so i now the build quality is there. hoping the same goes for the 932.

i had considered this one but it's a bit heavy buy itself about 32lbs without anything in it. and since i lan party a lot i'm wanting to keep weight down for transportation purposes. but i do like the look of it too. really curious about the feet on it though as it seems to be 1 long strip.

Shit i take mine with me when i go places, it has to weigh every bit of 65 pounds fully loaded.

I'd lean towards the Antec DF myself. Seven fans... 3 front 120's + 2 rear 120's and 2 top 140's = some nice air movement. I would think that this would take care of your case temp issue. :)

Yes but negative pressure is a dust magnet positive is far less dust gathering. the haf has 2 200's? in one out and a 120 out. larger fans are quiter and move more air.

Both great cases, and having a top fan in cases today are a must since the fact heat rises, its the best way of getting the heat out....

Well i would still go with the HAF, it has 4 usb 3.0's, and the HAF has a 5 egg rating even after 1800 reveiews.
