New Card

[captain204mike]

I have a 8800GTX 768mb card
what would be a upgrade from this one, this card is bad ass, but starting to have problems with it crashing in games so im thinking about upgrading but i havent been studying video cards for a while and wasnt sure what card replaced the 8800

GTX 260 or 4870 would be great upgrade for you.

are you serious?
that GTX 260 card is cheap price wise compared to what i paid for this 8800,, WOW
you sure that is a upgrade from the 8800?

[Blind Man]

yup, if you want to spend more look at the 4870X2 or GTX 280

Remember GTX 260 is two gens after your current 8800 GTX.

260 216 overclocked looks to be much more capable than an 8800gtx. Pretty close to a 280.
