Hi guys,
Now that sandy bridge is out i am thinking of finally getting an upgrade to my 3 year old PC.
Here are my old specs:

CPU intel E8400 @ 3.6
Mobo BFG 680i Sli Mobo
Ram 4 GIG 800mhz
Vga ATI 4870x2
HDD 500GB Sata 2 7200rpm 32MB Buffer
PSU Corsair 650W TX Series
Case Coolermaster Elite

I was wondering if i can keep some parts of my PC and get some new ones in order to save some money.
I am looking to get Intel i5 2500k and a compatible mobo and ram. My goal is to achieve atleast 75% performance gain from my current setup. :eek:
What do you guys suggest that i should hold on to from my current setup and what new parts should i get.
My budget is something around £400. But it can be extended by selling my existing PC parts.
