I'm finally jumping the 939 ship. I got an I7920 at Micro Center today (had to drive 120 miles rt). With tax I paid $215.43.
From New Egg I ordered:
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R LGA
Corsair 750 TX
G Skill Ripjaws 3x2 1600
I also ordered a refurbished CM 922HAF
I am looking at either a WD Caviar Black 640 or the 1T Samsung F3, although I think NE is out of both of them at this time.
What is a good cd/dvd burner? Let me know what you think of this build (any suggestions are appreciated), and if I'm forgetting anything. Thanks.

I almost forgot the Heatsink and Fan:
I've been looking at the Thermalright CoGage True Spirit, and The Thermaltake True (Ultra) extreme 120 Rev. C. what do you think? Also is there a particular fan that works best with these hsf's? How are the stock fans? Thanks, again.

+1 for the f3, and how much do you want to o/c?
I think I want to get 3.8 to 4.0 if I can. Will the two heatsinks I listed handle the extra heat alright?
Also, does anyone know if these heatsinks are compatable w/ the motherboard I ordered? Are there
any clearance issues that I need to keep an eye on? Will it (mb) allow me to use a bolt through mounting system?
Lots of questions, I know, and I really appreciate your help.

How does the 1TB. WD Black with two processors compare to the Samsung F3?

The F3 is faster in throughput, but the cavblack is slightly faster in random access.

Wouldn't MC have been cheaper for the board, too? since they're offering $20 additional off when you buy a board/cpu bundle?

They were out of stock in the MB that I was familiar with. The ones left were the more expensive models.

oic, yah, their stocks are rather low on the popular boards, IMO.
