I just built a haswell computer system.
1 x SeaSonic G Series SSR-550RM 550W
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
1 x Western Digital WD Blue
ASUS Z87M-PLUS LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 uATX Intel Motherboard
1 x EVGA 02G-P4-2763-KR GeForce GTX 760
1 x Intel Core i5-4570
1 x OCZ Vertex 4
1x Noctua u12
computer was running stable for a week untill i installed the noctua cooler on there. at this point the pc will show green led on the motherboard and when shorting the power pins it does not post. The psu fan seems to spin up but the cpu fan does not.
i tried it without the video card, hard drive, layed out on a desk, reseated cpu. switched out psu (same result). on further inspection there seems to be a fan cable that has been burnt/melted?
anyone know what to do?
