Well folks, just went from a 2400+ AMD @ 2400mhz/1gb/200gbhd/6600gt to
-Abit IP35 vanilla (bios 14 official)
-E6420 (borrowing until I make decision on quadcore 65 vs 45nm!)
-2gb of cheapo G.Skill ddr2-800
-WD 750gb SATA
-Antec Trio 550w
-Geforce 7600gs (waiting on my 8800gt to ship from dell :/)
-CM690 chassis
-Vista business 32bit
Well, right out of box it's running 1.43vcore @ 400*8 (3200mhz), ram voltage at 2.05, AUTO ram timings, PRIME STABLE! can't believe how easy this is...
with coretemp i'm seeing ~62c full load / 40c idle
Should I try to go farther?! What about adjusting that GTLREF and other voltages which I left at stock, at what point do they become neccesary?
Can't believe how quiet and competent / easy overclockable this system is, wow. why'd i wait so long!
