I just ordered these parts for my new pc:

EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 SC Ultra GAMING, 06G-P4-2067-KR, 6GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans
Intel Core i7-8700 Coffee Lake 6-Core 3.2 GHz (4.6 GHz Turbo) LGA 1151 (300 Series) 65W BX80684I78700 Desktop Processor
CORSAIR Crystal 570X RGB Tempered Glass, Premium ATX Mid Tower Case, WHITE
CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 DRAM DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) Desktop Memory
GIGABYTE H370 AORUS Gaming 3 WiFi
Noctua NH-D9L, Premium CPU Cooler

I have a Corsair hx1000 from my old computer. It's been running fine for 10 years. You think it's ok to use in my new build?

Ten years is getting on for a PSU. I'd recommend a new one. Something gold-rated in the 500 W range (e.g., Seasonic) would be just fine.

Hard to say. I'm obviously going to be doing a lot of gaming. I think I'll probably replace it, just to be on the safe side. It gave me a decade of work. I think that's good enough, but how much power do I really need for my new build? BlueLineSwinger said 500 W. I was thinking about 750 W, just to make sure I'm ok with future upgrades. What do you guys think about this PSU:

Or am I going overboard?
