Hey, i'm about to lose it. I recently bought all of the components for a new computer and have had nothing but problems. First, I RMA'd the motherboard because it wasn't posting and could not get to the bios. Right now i have access to a board that is almost identical, so i tried putting it in there with all of the same componants, now it posts, but instead of the bios coming up all the screen has on it is pixelated fuzz like a tv with white noise. There are mostly black and white pixels but there are some random colored ones. Any ideas of what the problem could be? The video card is placed well, everything plugged in correctly there. If there is any info that I need to post regarding my system let me know, or if there is a post about this already please just post the link (i did search for about 30 minutes), or if this is in the wrong subforum feel free to redirect. Thanks to any help that can be provided.

I had basically the exact visual symptoms with my build, which includes 2X 8800 GTX cards.
I had been using one at first to simplify the initial build, but it did all this funky display stuff like flashy plaid-like fuzzy. ASUS tech support said to switch the cards and voila! the display was perfect. Your card might be toast- can you exchange it?

As for me, the bad card is in the mail as of tomorrow morning, and I can't wait to be running SLI!:D

Hang in there with the build, it will work out eventually.

the system is: Intel 6420 dual core, asus 650i mobo, 2x1 gb g.skill ram, msi 8600 gts video card (which I tested on another computer a few weeks ago and it started up fine, but then it sat around for a while until i got this new mobo), corsair 520watt psu. My return policy with zipzoomfly is about up since i've been sitting on this stuff for about 3 weeks because of the first motherboard problem so I'm pretty much screwed if something else is broken...
