I have a abit ip35 pro running a q6600 g0 on air , at 3.4 ghz 378 X 9 my voltage is 1.39 running stable in prime, when I up it to 400X9 for 3.6 ghz 1.42 voltage 1 core will always fail couple minutes in the temps were around mid 60's at load , any suggestion to get 3.6 without 1 failing? how high can the voltage to the cpu go for the q6600? thanks for your time.

Max CPU voltage for Core2's is 1.55v, according to Intel. People have gone higher, though.

Intel's temperature threshold is 60°C during full load.

Those numbers are, of course, for safe operation of the chip.

Use CoreTemp 0.95.4 to check temps.
