New build, no video

Just put together my new build:

Ryzen 7 1700

Gigabyte GA-AB350M-HD3

16 GB PNY Anarchy DDR4 ram

Everything boots up, everything lights up, all usbs work. I'm not for sure what going on .
 
Video plugged into the board or a dedicated vidcard?

Also, if you're getting no video, how do you know your USB ports work?
 
There better be a dedicated video card plugged into the board. Ryzen has no onboard video. Hope you don't mind buying a spare to make sure it's not an incompatibility with your video card.

Agreed, just because they get power doesn't mean the USB ports work.

And you know, you could do us a favor and tell us what your video card is, along with the rest of the build.
 
That's going to be confusing for a lot of people.
Yes, you need a video card.

The mobos have all of the video ports, but none of them are active with the current Ryzen CPUs.
No GPUs in any of them.
