He doesn't plan on doing any overclocking for now. He just wants something stable and fast for about $1200, So is there anything that you folks would change or recommend? Different PSU or RAM maybe?

This PSU is a better choice, short cable lengths.

Also I do not think the choice of RAM is guaranteed to work if its the 2.0v stuff. Someone can correct me here if the RAM will work properly in that board.

Consider this instead as the board is VDimm limited to 1.95V

ah thanks, i didnt notice that about the ram.

any other suggestions on a alternate PSU, he wants to try and order everything from one place.
