New Build: Major Conundrum... help needed.

So I'm gonna post the most recent parts list and then at the bottom I'll post my questions. Hopefully some people can give me some ideas, suggestions etc.

Processor: 14900K

MOBO: Z790 Dark Hero

CPU Cooler: Kraken Elite 360 RGB

RAM: 48GB 7600 CL36 DDR5 Dominator Titanium RGB

SSD: 2x 4TB Samsung 990 Pro NVME

GPU: ROG STRIX Gaming OC RTX 4090

Case: 011 Dynamic EVO XL

PSU: Corsair HX1000i

Case Fans: No clue as of yet

Questions I have:
1. I expected (or hoped) that Intel would have fixed the issue with the 14th Gen... and I thought they had... but apparently they have not!

2. So what to do? I'm looking to build within weeks and not sure if I should just stick with the current build or switch to AMD? I'm the type that when I build (though it's been some years since my last build), I want to know I have the best possible and Intel is throwing a pipe wrench into my plans. I could go with 13th Gen, but again... now I'm not getting the best, only the best possible because of the current Intel problems.

3. If I switch to AMD... I'm pretty much clueless. I see the 7900X3D is considered the best, but then what about the most recently released 9950X? Waiting on the 9950X3D isn't an option as there's no release date and just a lot of 'speculation'.

4. In regards to RAM... is using 2 sticks still preferred over 4 sticks? Kinda hate having 2 empty slots, but of course stability/performance has to be the main goal over aesthetics.

5. GPU's... if I ended up going AMD, would sticking with the 4090 still be my best option or should I consider also switching to whatever the best AMD GPU would be?

6. Are there any high quality 32 inch monitors that are mini-led? My Dell S3220DGF has no issues, but if I'm doing a new build, I feel like it might be my weak link and I'm not a fan 'at all' with OLED due to most of the games I have, have static HUD's... so I'd prefer to avoid the possibility of burn-in.

Any help would be beyond grateful.

1. They still say they have, as long as you have updated microcode. The problem is likely in silicon, and will be there forever, but the damage can be prevented by software - if i'm understanding correctly.
2. 13th gen has the same issue, you'd have to go back to 12th to get out of the problem.
3. If you're gaming get the 7900X3D As pointed out below, 7800x3d or 7950x3d may actually be better. Theres some issues with the split CCX's if I remember, and I now forget. In general i think it is the fastest gaming CPU you can buy right now.
5. Keep the 4090. AMD GPU's are --- less good.
6. someone else will have to help with this one. I buy monitors like once every 10 years, and its been a few.

*7800x3d, don’t bother with the 7900x3d or the 7950x3d. Extra software is required for those, it involves 2 ccd’s which complicate things. For pure gaming the 7800x3d is the cpu to get.

2 stick tend to be easier if you want them to go fast.

That said if you go for the 7800x3d maybe you can save on the ram, I would look if it is worth it to go over 6000-6200 with those.

If the Kraken Elite 360 RGB no problem getting overkill but you could also save a bit there.

7800x3d with 6000 cl30 ram = the winning combo
 
If you're leaning Intel, I'd say wait a few weeks and see what the upcoming Arrow Lake CPUs bring. Supposedly they'll be out around mid-October.

And it wouldn't surprise me if AMD announces the 9000X3D chips around the same time.
 
The suspense is killing me, waiting on full specs on these upcoming models. Not to mention, putting a damper on trying to come up with a build and it's frustrating me because being OCD, I plan everything out in advance and I like to have pricing etc which is all just guesswork at this point. Not to mention the fact that with all this talk about various other RAM options... could possibly throw another wrench into my upcoming build. Making it very hard to plan anything and I really need to start ordering parts within the first week of November. ARG!

I was trying to see how I might able to shave some costs off my build, but not mess with performance, functionality and quality. One of the first things I thought about, was RGB! Fans alone are running me about $300 for 11 of them. I'm thinking, there must be some really great fans out there, that aren't so damn expensive and not RGB. Granted, maybe there might be some good RGB fans to choose from... but RGB is also adding an unnecessary layer of possible failure, on top of the added cost.

PSU... I picked the SeaSonic 1300w Titanium that's going for $510. Surely there must be something less expensive but still still made well and hopefully still be around to maybe help out in a new build a couple years or so from now?

AIO... $320 for the Kraken Elite 360 RGB. Going on the assumption that someone can suggest another route for a case and fans, is there any money saving to be had on switching this AIO out? I can get the non-RGB variant, though it doesn't save much of anything.

cut out the rgb shit,
get a regular non-trendy case,
ditch the rgb,
get a gold psu, theyre plenty good.
get a different aio, like the one suggested.

My bad... lack of sleep and tired, but not the end of the world. Sorry.
 
Back again with some changes...

So I've switched out the $510 SeaSonic 1300 Titanium PSU and going with the ROG Thor 1200. I just figured it's a win-win for me... save $155, comes with nice braided cable and ready for the 5000 series, if they do infact end up needing dual 12v-2x6.

Now I'm leaning towards changing the Lian Li Infinity fans and going with the Silent Wings Pro 4. There's two things stopping me from outright pulling the trigger and maybe someone here has some experience...

1. I see these things have a switch on the back... can you still somehow control these via software, or do you have to open the case and start flipping switches on all the fans? It really couldn't be that over-complicated can it?

2. How the hell do you hook up all these fans? A hub? With the Lian Li fans it was easy with daisy chain and a single hub and your done. Now we're talking 10/11 fans... so 10/11 wires just dangling there making fun of me. I can't seem to find a hub on Silent Wings site... so the wiring process is doing my head in.

And finally, someone above commented about changing out the NZXT for the one suggested, but I must be blind because I'm not seeing any AIO suggestions. I know NZXT is suppose to release a newer version of the Kraken Elite 360 and supposed to be a 10% performance increase. So... is 10% better make it worth sticking with, or is there really a clear winner with CPU AIO's, when so many reviewers claim there isn't all that much performance difference between them all?

$300 for 11 case fans is also a good amount, 5 pack of arctic p12 can be around $35 when on deal.

RGB are not raelly a layer of failure, because if they fail it is 100% irrelevant.

Do you need that much fan if your cpu is on an AIO and not putting any heat in the case (and will have 3 fans going on)
