New build help needed...

Hi everyone, just finished building an AMD 4000+ using a DFI Lanparty motherboard. Windows XP Pro is installed but I can't get an internet connection going. I have Comcast as a service provider. It works fine on the old computer I'm typing on but no dice on the new one.
In the device manager, I can't find an ethernet connection either, I have a Gigabit 1 and 2 on the back of the computer and when plugged in to the cable modem the light turns on, but it doesn't seem like something is engaged right. Any suggestions out there?

you tried both ethernet controllers? i know you said you tried one. if you dont get an answer here and i hope you do. head on over to dfi-street.com.
 
I had a similar problem. I didn't unplug the power on the cable modem to reset it before i switched computers so the modem wouldn't work. The Comcast software wouldn't make the connection.
 
top port is part ot the nforce 4 drivers off of nivida site and the bottomr port is marvell youll need drivers for whatever one you use.
