I figured I'd maybe do this every time I see a good new build for the price. You kind of have to think outside the box these days.

Most of it's already been posted here.

Motherboard/CPU/CPU Cooler/Case/PSU/Memory/Storage:
Getorli Ryzen 7 H 255 Mini-PC with 16GB DDR5 5600MHz, 1TB NVMe SSD, and has a dedicated OCuLink and USB4 port for $449.99. It was on sale for $409.99 about 10 weeks ago.

For the price, you really can't beat it. By itself, the 780m iGPU itself can play quite a lot of games at 1080P, and some arcade or 2D games at 2K. The Ryzen 7 H 255 performs on par between a Ryzen 5 9600X and i5-14400F (with DDR5). The biggest part of this mini-PC is the dedicated OCuLink port. If you want to use a discrete graphics card, I recommend pairing this with this eGPU using OCuLink ($54.98).

You will also need a dedicated PSU for the eGPU, and the power of the PSU will depend on the graphics card you'll be pairing it up with. You also need to know you have to connect and power up the PSU on the OCuLink eGPU before turning on the Mini-PC, else something bad could happen.

Graphics card + additional PSU:
Keep an eye on this bundle, which is a decent deal considering that all prices on graphics cards have gone up:
ASRock Radeon RX 9070 Challenger 16GB & PRO 750W 80+ Gold PSU | Premium 4K Gaming and Creation Bundle for $739.98.

Using OCuLink is a only about a loss of 2.38% against a PCIe 4.0x8 using an overclocked RTX 3070TiM (which is on par with a good overclocking RTX 3070). So, if you're getting 120 FPS with a RX 9070 16GB on PCIe 4.0x8, using OCuLink will get you 117.44 FPS. Not much loss.

The RX 9070 16GB is a 60 FPS+ graphics card for 4K gaming, and 120 FPS+ at 2K.

Of course, you can always save more by buying used, or finding deals.

Total build cost = $1244.95
