New build, does that mean a new pump?

My current build is a socket 2011 with a first generation Titan and a maximus extreme board. The cpu and card are underwater. I have a mountain mods custom case, which I love. I have a triple radiator with six push/pull fans set right after the EK bay res that has a d5 adjustable pump pushing the water into the cpu, then the gtx titan. The water then goes into a single rad with a push/pull configuration, then back to the bay res. My cpu and gpu never get above 25 C. This is my 10th build, first watercooling build. I am hooked. I have had this setup for 3 years, I have drained it only once but have continued to periodically hit it with drops of bio kill. It is now time for a new build. I am happy with the fact that I have never had a leak, largely due to this site. My question is mainly this: how long can I count on this pump? When should I worry about it failing? With the new build should I also get a new pump?
Next, should I feel safe to reuse the same fittings and tubes for the new build?
I have seen horror stories of isiots with algae growing in their systems. Is this a thing of the past with bio kill?

TIA for your help.

I personally never worried about my pump until I heard bearing noise or my temps began to increase for no other apparent reason as long as my loop was maintained. Laing D5's have been known to last for years

D5 pumps last a very long time. My oldest D5 pump is going on 6 years since I acquired it, and presumably ~4 years by the previous owner, and it was manufactured in 2005.

It is entirely safe to reuse fittings and tubing. In fact, it is entirely safe to reuse everything except for anything that is physically incompatible with what its cooling (primarily motherboard and fullcover GPU blocks). My system is 6 years old without any hint of algae growth, using only silver killcoils.

I am fairly certain the electric auxiliary coolant pumps that are showing up in the automotive world, with usages of circulating coolant for hybrid electronics and HiPo intercooler systems are D5 units. They have been incredibly robust in that application. I wouldn't be worried about lifespan in a rig with one.

If it is a concern, watch for a deal on one and hold it in reserve.
