1. What resolutions are you going to be gaming at? I wouldn't bother with a GTX unless you're gaming at really high resolutions (1900x 1080 or higher). Right now, I would rather try and get an 8800GT which performs almost as good as the GTX (from what I've been reading at least) but costs a little less than half of what the GTX costs. It's also a single slot card, if you need access to your PCI slots. The only issue is that it's hard to find in stock right now, although I wouldn't mind waiting a week or two to save $250.

2. For the RAM, I would personally go with Crucial Ballistix. And do you really need 4GB? for gaming right now, 4GB isn't really necessary, and the price difference may not be worth it. Also, I'm not sure if I'm interpreting it right, but if you read the rebate form, it sounds like you only get 1 rebate per household, meaning that you'd get a rebate off the first pair, and not the second pair.

3. After picking all those good, high quality parts, I can't believe you didn't pick a SATA DVD drive! I highly recommend you get a SATA DVD drive so you don't have to use a big IDE cable that will restrict airflow.

4. The 6850 isn't really necessary for gaming. I'd rather get the 6750 for about $100 less. If you really need the faster speed, you should easily hit 3Ghz just by increasing the FSB to 375.

5. I wouldn't bother with northbridge/southbridge coolers until your system has demonstrated a need for them. Most people find that bridge coolers don't lower their temps enough (maybe 2-3°C) to warrant the purchase of a bridge cooler.

I didn't mention it but I'm going to buy a Dell 2407WFP as well. Which is part of the reason why I am buying a beefier card. I've been chained to my 19" CRT for long enough .

I already have the ram so thats already done, your comment on 2 gigs currently being sufficient makes since though. I'm not 100% sure on how the rebate is going to turn out, I guess I'll find out in 3 months or however long it takes to get it or them back.

Oops that's supposed to have been a SATA drive. Any reason you chose the Samsung over LiteOn?

The reason that I threw them on there before getting the system and testing it for temps is that I am cramming a lot of parts w/ high heat production into that case. Again your point makes since, I'll hold off until I get the system put together and tested.
