New build advice

my current i5 2500k p67 build is slowly dying. Tried to replace my dead gtx280 with an rx580 and it won’t post (error 97) so I’m gonna gut and replace.

Going with a Ryzen 5/2600 or a 7/2700 NVMe for boot, I’d prefer a type-c on back and possibly a header. Going to use the rx580 I have so it’s not going to be anything insane. Looking for help on choosing mobo with these requirements
-PCIe NVMe
-type c usb on rear I/o

Options
-2x m2
-type c header

Built my Son’s PC around the MSI B450 Pro Carbon AC (mouthful!) and it may work for you. Zero issues since first post and we have had it for 6 months or so now.

For the price that one still is I could go x570.

Anyone use the b450 steel legend by ASRock?

Right now torn between

ASUS Prime X470-Pro
Asrock B450 Steel Legend

They are practically the same price.

The Asrock B450 Pro4 is like 30 cheaper but a lil stripped, still meets what I’m looking for. Only going with a r5 2600 or r7 2700 not the x model and I prolly won’t put much of an OC on it.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
