Looking for some input on my new build. Mostly do you think the cooling will be adequate with this plan and is the bottom fan needed? I don't want to go through the hassle of cutting a hole in my case if it's not.
I would like to maintain positive pressure but that is going to be hard to do. I do plan to have the twin top 140mm fans running at only about 5v.

Specs:
Lian Li PC-P50
Supermicro X10-SRA
Intel E5-1650 v4
EVGA GTX 1080 FE
Intel 750 400GB

You propably can get positive air pressure if you spin your intake fans fast enough. How fast depends on what fans you'll have. I'm not experienced enough to tell you how much airflow they will give depending on speed. You could estimate using their max airflow values and how max airflow changes for the same fans with just different max speeds or find some graphs that show the correlation but I haven't seen any manufacturer make graphs like that. Just remember to get dust filters for your intake fans, positive pressure doesn't mean sh*t without them
