I just came across this one and bought it recently. IMHO, it is a great phone compared to S3 and others except it has lower screen resolution, but it is still great for the price.

Nice deal! The One S is a very decent mid range phone. runs 4.1 and is fairly quick. 179$ new is great. I bought one for my G/F a year + ago for 300$ new on Craigslist.
 
can't beat this price for brand new, my friend bought one from the link.
 
Grabbing one to hold me over until my next upgrade. I also love how solid HTC phones feel compared to most of their competitors who offer flimsy feeling plastic body phones.
 
I think the one S is already EOL for official software upgrades.
 
Dual core, integrated battery, no sd slot. About sums it up.

I know people poo-poo buying used phones, especially off Craigslist, but if you exercise a bit of caution, there are some way better deals to be had.


FWIW, I did have the HTC Sensation for about a year, and do respect HTC to a certain level..

The S is the bastard phone next to the X (quadcore but tegra)
