New Beta WU P8105?

Yup, they suck and I'm hoping not to get one.
You can read more about it in the 8104 thread below near the last page.

Ahh, I searched for it before I posted the thread, but I think i searched for p8105 instead of just 8105.

The deadline is tight on these, like P8101. Some existing hardware might not make it.

The story is... The first time they leaked was when the work server was populated. The second time they were leaked was when they opened it so the benchmark machine could grab one (which they had to do because they had moved them to the production WS). The next time they are available, it should be with the correct settings, which as mentioned in the previous thread, will likely be the same settings as 8102/3.

Sounds like the mistake was in moving the units to the production work server too early. But whatever the truth is, when they show up again, 8105's settings 'should' be correct.

I got one and they have upped the PPD, it is with-in 650 points to an 8104 I have running also.

My quad working on one too:

TPF is exactly same as 8103, but less points: 8105 ~ 508k PPD, 8102,3,4 ~ 550k PPD

Good news !

It seems that Standford has updated the PPD of P8105 because , last week , it was much lower : around PPD of P8101.

@ Tomas R: updated spread sheet with WU's 8101-8105.

Yep, I was surprised to see that result today morning. :)

@AXm77

When I look at your TPF´s and PPD the water comes in my eyes!
With 16 cores more and a higher frequency on each core, I`m shoulder on shoulder with your rig.
What the hell............

Magny-Cours vs Interlagos. "Force" is strong with The Old one... :D
