New ATI "secret" powerpoint

look pal, im an nVidia fan too, but I don't see any cheating or fake #'s in that presentation, just little personal notes for the speaker (i.e. don't make too much fun of nVidia, the public will do that for you). Before you get on me that "You can't be an nVidia fan, you don't run a geforce!" Well, I love their Motherboards and they have proven to be phenomenal. nVidia is all I use when I'm looking for an AthlonXP mobo (Athlon64 is a diff. story, KT800 please, at least until the Nforce3 250). But on the video side, im sticking with ATI, at least until someone comes up with a kickass solution (who knows S3 might come outa left field and blow ATI outa the water like ATI blew nVidia outa the water 2 years ago...Im talking graphics power, in terms of market share, THAT didn't happen until late 2003) I also like how ATI poked fun at itself in the slide where they post "We have the majority of the market share" and under it it says somthing to the effect "so what it's only .2% more then the Competion, where still ahead :)"

looks like a pretty standard slideshow to me...obviously ATI is going to focus on their strengths when they can, just like any other company.

I like the "Point out that we have an animated logo! How cool is that?" at the end:)

I wish the ATI/nVidia discussions here could remain as composed as the first couple pages in that discussion.

The presentation was funny and interesting, I like how that guy writes himself notes. And the interpretations in the thread were amusing too.

I don't personally care, no plans on upgrading here. :)

Yea,

personally doesnt effect me at all. however, it was a good read. :)

I love the contrast between NVidia and the way ppl have never-ending cluster fucks with every little bit of info released, but on the other hand this ATI ppt. show had more info and data than most press releases...and it's downplayed.

LOL, this is so typical corporate garbage, all the companies in the computer business do this, don't be supprised.

this isnt a powerpoint, its a collection of notes speakers use when they are going to be giving a presentation....

The file type of the URL on the ATI website was PowerPoint.
??
Notes or presentation, it was in PowerPoint.
hence ppt.

LOL! I mean, really LOL! Some hilarious comments in that presentation. It'll be interesting to see if the nv40 can do PS3.0 decently.
