New ATI drivers out today.

I just installed, and uninstalled, ATI's 4.12 download. My machine, Windows XP SP2, kept trying to find two pieces of hardware that do not exist. Has anyone else ever seen this particular problem?

Anyway, the new Catalyst didn't do anything new that was useful that I could see.

I've got this too, they're some kind of "capture" driver if your running your tv or movie camera through your video card. I've just disabled mine through the device manager.If anyone else has a better way of handling this please let me know too. Personaly, I wish they would put these drivers on a seperate download so people like us wouln't have to deal with them.I happen to have a seperate capture card and these drivers(ATI's) just confuse the shit out me when I go to install the drivers on my capture card, Oh well, I guess ATI should be getting my complaints and not the forum.

I installed them yesterday and have had no problems, but neither have I seen any real difference in frame rates or smoothness in game.

I got a few more 3d marks though. Woot
