New Ati batch may switch me from Nvidia

Haha.. or not. That's just Asus's spinoff of SLI Ultras with two 6800U chips on one card. That's definitely not the next Geforce.

(By the way... I'm assuming you're talking about the huge beast that was on Hardocp's news)
 
Well, nVidia isn't saying anything about their next chipset, so it's kinda hard to get excited about it. They may not even need to release a new chip until this fall/winter. R520 is rumored to cost in the $600-700 range. Not many people will buy it if that is the case. Now, if they ebable AMR for the R400s, like it is said they will, nVidia will be hurting indeed.

True... or nVidia figures they won't need a new card for a bit if they have SLI and two SLI'd cards can match next gen? (hoping for a price drop maybe??) :rolleyes: Eh oh well... all speculations for now... let's see what happens.
