New Asus 22"

It does appear to have the various component input for use as a tv monitor.

You have to ask yourself if you have a need for that? Do you have a DirectTV rec that could be plugged into it?

If you are just going to use it as a pc monitor, you could get something as good for $300-400 without the tv inputs.

This model has a built in subwoofer. With so many 22" displays on the market and limited picture quality difference between them the profit margins are probably quite slim. Asus naturally want a product that sets them apart & makes a bigger profit.

Unless you desperately want the integration I think you can do a lot better for $600, maybe a Samsung 226BW/CW + seperate 2.1 speaker system & change in your pocket
