New AMD roadmap

FX 62???

I thought that they would start FX 60 and then increase by 5s, like the Opteron dual cores.
 
Ya its sounds all jacked up doesnt it. I want a X2 7400 chip i didnt see that on there hehe.
 
I hate it when AMD releases new roadmaps, it makes my XP 2800+ look ancient ;)

Well, the supposed FX-60 would supposedly be for Socket 939, this one is for M2 AND Dual-core :D Lovely

Update: Unfortunately we just went under NDA for the FX chip that is between FX-62 and FX-57 and ends in an even number that isn't 8. I had to remove that information, sorry.

An interesting shift is that the FX chips will all become dual core only with the FX-?? launch. Congrats to the lucky reviewers who will receive samples.
