Started up my new acer 9500 laptop.

I started into the windows setup, start the basic startup, get a ways into the basic startup, but i hit a bluescreen. I forgot to plug the MFer in. I shut down the computer, i started it up again, i'm not getting a windows startup, just a boot selection screen.

I really dont know what to do, the boot disks display an error every time i get to the first disk, i dont know who to talk to or if i can solve it myself.

Help?

What did you forget to plug in?
What happens when you select one of the displayed boot options?
What are the options that are displayed?
Make a new set of boot floppies and try again. For a clean start delete the partition then create a new one or format it. You can do that all from windows XP setup menu during the install.

I forgot to plug in the power on my first boot.

My boot options are: Hard drive, CD, Floppy and Network/Lan
If i select one of the options, it flickers the screen, like it tried to aknowledge my command but didn't do anything.

I dont have any windows xp startup disk, it didn't come with any windows cd. The funny thing is, i'm not getting back to any kind of dos prompt or anything.

????????
If you forgot to plug in the power how did you boot up?
Those boot options sound like they are in the BIOS setup. If that is true you select hard drive, save the setup and reboot. The PC will then look for a bootable OS on the hard drive.
If you don't have a windows XP CD how are you installing it?
Don't know why but I'm not getting any reply notifications?
