barton 3000 (400mhz) abit nf7. 512ddr pc2700 ( i know, ill upgrade that)

but anyways heres the problem. after a day of using this new video card (9800 pro ati retail 128 meg), there seems to be crazy artifacting... even in windows there are icon and button corruptions. clicking and dragging on desktop will leave white dots, moving cursor over parts of browser and ect will leave trails of corruption... running atitool with the haircube ... forget about it , it looks like fireworks. man. wtf? and whats interesting is that immediatley after a reformatt and windows installs generic default crappy drivers, everythign is fine, no corruption. but now im getting angry   i've tried using omega drivers, cd catalysts, cat 4.6's, all the same. its not my agp slot because i popped my RELIABLE ti4600 in it and it ran perfectly fine... even with catalyst drivers :p

whoah im really scared now... not. so what if you reported me to a mod? so ill get a warning or two, but at least im not a little bitch

He is prolly just scared that his card is going nuts.

Give him a break. Some people just wait for mistakes and nail people for them.

If you are going to inform him about it... you could have pm'ed him or at least give him some info then told him not to double post.

Back to topic...

I would boot up into safe mode and delete all other video drivers that are present and reboot. reinstall the driver of choice and if the issue still remains, RMA the bitch.

Good luck
Danny
