New 6ms HP 24" LCD LP2465 cheaper then 23"

Anyone want to tell my why it's $100 cheaper then the 23"?
It's got 2x the brightness, 2x the contrast, much faster response time, bigger, AND cheaper then the L2335 I just bought a few weeks ago

And on top of that I'm having some strange problems with the L2335. Its got some strange pink lines that show up sometimes around black text on a gray backround and I've seen some noise in the picture sometimes...It's just not my fucking week.

Please someone tell me that the 24" sucks or something or I'm going to cry

Because they are switching from the more expenisve S-IPS panel to a cheaper VA panel likely the same as the Dell 2407. Personally I like S-IPS much more.

is there any word on this monitor being HDCP compliant?

and it is a P-MVA panel rather than an (A)S-IPS panel, which i see is disappointing to a lot of people, but i'm real curious to see actual user reviews on this...it is priced at $869.00 USD right now, which is an attractive price...

let's see what HP has done with this size panel...is it a samsung panel like the 2407??
