New 6800ultra. Video problems, HELP QUICK!

I just installed a 6800ultra into my computer and when watching videos, the picture quality is horrible. The colors are messed up but when playing games or anything else... its fine.
And when I was trying to take a screen shot, It doesnt show the bad color.

I never had this happen before, just now. I tried reinstalling my codecs, nope.

When I turn my hardware acceleration to none (i was trying to take a screen shot) the video was perfect. But put it on Full and the colors become messed up again.

Anyone know whats wrong?
 
Same thing happened to me when I went to the beta drivers, I reinstalled the 77.72's and it was back to normal.

Try out some different drivers and make sure to use driver cleaner.
 
WOW i was just about to post the same thing.. lol

I've got the bfg 6800gt oc.. same deal.. games are fine, but as soon as i watch a video in winamp ect it gets all messed up.. like way too much contrast.. and a whitich hue around edges...

i updated it to the latest drivers, so now i dont know what else to do ??
 
Thanks! Installed a older driver (71.89). Works fine now, thanks again!
 
There is an easy fix for the 77.72 driver's video problem.
But if your fine with 71.89s I won't stop ya.
 
known problem with 77.72, resetting gamma in the color profiles should fix this.
