New 3500+ System - Critique Please!

Okay, first post on the [H] so be kind.....

Alright its time to upgrade from my XP2600+ and this is what I am ordering unless someone finds something better on here. I am in Canada so I cannot use Newegg or ZZF.

From My Old System
XFX GeForce 6600GT AGP
19" NEC Multisync 97F
WD 160GB HDD (Slave)

This is on a semi-budget of around $1200 CAN. So is the Corsair 4000Pro (dual-channel kit) worth the extra $60.00 up from the 3200C2Pro.

Also, will my Zalman 7000AlCu be compatible with the new setup? Zalman's site is boggling me. I saw one user on here (Invictus) with the same setup but his DDR1 was blocked by the HSF. Is that much of a problem?

If your Zalman doesn't fit the MSI, get a ASUS A8V instead. It can even take the 7700
Make sure it is ver.2 though. Rev.1 lacks a working AGP/PCI lock.
Important when you wanna OC

If your getting a raptor, get the 74 bg version. It really is better, and the reduced seek times are noticeable. It really warrants the (slight) extra cost.
