New 2007wfp and my problems..

Hi,

I just bought 2007wfp. It's S-IPS panel. I went from 17" TN, so the difference is obvious. I don't know whats wrong with the colors, but it is too bright.. After 10mins of reading my eyes are getting tired and i need to go away from it. When i lower the brightness in the monitor settings, the image quality becomes not that good. I recently installed Vista and noticed that all letters are too sharp. This is very annoying. Seriously, I'm going crazy.. Any help is appreciated.

Try this http://www.majorgeeks.com/Monitor_Calibration_Wizard_d3912.html it will allow you to create an ic profile to load with windows if you get things the way you like it. If that fails then I suggest investing in something like the Spyder2 express colorimeter to take the guesswork out of calibration.
