Hello everyone.. I have been searching for over a year now, for some good 1920x1200 monitor and the only one which I think is worth buying for a gamer + internet surfer is the Asus V266H. I bet lots of you kept searching for a good 1920x1200 but haven't been able to find the ultimate one!. I wonder whats wrong with these manufacturers, only busy making crappy 16:9 monitors it seems.

Are there any new 1920x1200 monitors announced, released or to be released soon?
I'd wish for an IPS, 2-3ms 1920x1200

Please post or link new 1920x1200 monitors if you find any

Thanks

I recommend this NEC EA261WM-BK monitor for a well balanced use (gaming and office use).

Exactly, they can get 4 displays from a single sheet w/ 16x9 when they could only get 3 w/ 16x10.
I am also in the market for a new monitor and I really want a 1920x1200 and it seems theres almost none left in my price range. Looks like I will most likely be getting the 28" Hans-G.

I know your looking for a higher quality monitor but I am sure the same is happening there as well. Its just more profitable to be making 16:9 monitors. Plus theres the key marketing term they can use w/ them as well "True HD 1080p".
