Hi:

So I am thinking about installing the new Omega Drivers, is it worth the trouble?

Thanks

I'm currently using the latest Omega drivers with my 9800 Pro. They seem to be the best drivers for my gaming needs. I prefer them over the regular ATI Catalyst drivers.

Results may vary.

Give them a try and see how they perform for you. Just be sure to properly uninstall your old drivers before installing the Omega drivers for best results.

i use them and the soft mod (sapphire 9500 np to 9700) worked perfect with these drivers and not with the early versions of the "wizard mod drivers"

i like the omega drivers just for the built in soft mod and soft mod switcher thing, it is nice to be able to swtich between soft modded and stock depending on what you are doing at the moment.

there is no trouble installing the drivers, it would probably take as long to install them as it would to post your message. what video card are you using by the way?

using a 9800pro.. gonna do a fresh install on my PC, make an image of it.. then i could feel free to play around with it as much as possible :p

it has a built in overclock utility, no?

yes, it has the buit in overclock utility, and it has buit in soft mod for the 9800 also :)

i have never had any problems installing it, i just uninstall my card in device manager, and then reboot and install the omega drivers.
