Just finished my setup with a Swiftech Apex Ultra kit. i am simply amazed. my temps have dropped tremendously. I tried a Scythe Ninja and a CNPS9500 before this and i just wasn't happy with my 52-55c full load temps. I am now at 40c full load but i am also running my 0546xpmw at 1.5v at 2.8ghz. i was running at 2.6 before because of temp issues. i ask myself now, why didnt i do this earlier? i havent tried any higher yet. so who knows what this chip can do with watercooling.
im sure other people have had this dramatic of a boost from switching but i just had to post this cuz im very excited.

here is a pic of my new mhz. updated, dual primed while sleeping. went 8 hrs strong.

Awesome! Glad you got what you were looking for and that all of you hard work and research paid off. Another satisfied, [H]ardCooling member!

Awesome, now I know how mine would look with WC. Thats very cool. Where did you get the UV lights and where do you hide them at?

thanks for looking and thanks for the comments.

pr3z, just using 1 15" logisys cold cathode light at the bottom of my case. hiding the controls and everything underneath the bottom drive where the pc speaker is at.
i had coolermaster "uv" lights but they never made stuff glow very good. the logisys works awesome.

Cool thanks man. I'll have to get to modding mine. it's kinda bland right now...

I have since then changed the PSU and hid the wiring mostlly. Armor's rule!!!

nice, i like the red in there
i was kinda disappointed by the primochill ice that i got. looks more pink/orange than red but it still reacts well to the UV.

congrats.. bout to get wet myself for the first time

like the apogee huh?

heard the storm is better but way more expensive....

svc has got apogees for 35bucks right now..

might have to jump on that ...

just bought a 1.120 BIP w/ fan and DD D4 Pump including all necessary tubeing and clamps today for $60 shipped..

man i love the FS forum...

cheers and props again,

mal

well i bit the bullet and bought an apogee so now i just need a radbox and a fillport ..

i'm kinda in the same boat as you even though i'm stuck in socket A land...

like you i mean: i'm running a lapped thermaltake bigtyphoon and still get in 50s if the room is hot ..

however that is overclocked to 2.3 at 1.65vcore

1.120 bip hangin off the back, pumped through an apogee at 317gph should put a dent in my temps .

hopefully like yours ...

cheers,

mal
