Hey I was thinking about shifting over to a sff shuttle, but I didn't want the heat issues(i'm a rabid overclocker, but I'm ready to take it down a notch to a less capable shuttle based system, but I still demand performance). Anyways I was thinking about dropping an Exos onto the top of one of the newer shuttle 939's. My question is would the koolance waterblock for a 6800 fit between the side of the case and the slot? Would the CPU 300watt block fit? Can the system pass through the back, if I dont use any PCI cards? How much bigger is the Exos than the shuttle itself, I've seen way different dimensions online. I want to keep it fairly silent, but very cool(obviously i know its a trade off, but I can hopefully find the medium here. Any one know of any other threads related to water-cooling a recent shuttle SFF?

overclocking and shuttles don't mix. and watercooling one is a MAJOR pain in you know what. there is simply not enough room. true, shuttles have been watercooled before, but there is simply not enough room for good watercooling, or for anything else (like hardware?) when you finish...

what do you mean overclocking and shuttles don't mix? sure they do.. shuttles overclock very well.. as far as watercooling.. it has been done.. i don't have time to look.. but you can find examples... i am sure you can get it to work.. but i don' tknow why would want two seperate boxes sitting on each other.. exos and shuttle...

i hvaen't watercooled before, but i wouldn't bother watercooling a shuttle.. due to the whole not being able to fit hardware afterwords...
