wow... I was so happy, I just started OCing my A643200+ w/ Clockgen, I had it up a 100MHz, and rockstable for like 8 hours on Prime95. So I decide to set it up a notch, I try for another 100MHz and Windows crashes.
I reboot. It gets to the WinXP loading screen, goes blank, the screen looks like it turns itself off/on again, and then re-reboots.
So I clear the CMOS, go back in, set things back to default and what not. Gets to the XP loading screen, does the same thing.
So I boot from CD, and choose to "Repair" the installation (not from the recovery console, but actually repair it).
So, here I am, greatfully still alive
wow, I don't need it, and it's just too risky. Maybe I suck, maybe my components suck, or maybe this is just too fragile an architecture...
