well i have had my main rig (a water cooled, amd athlon xp system) here for 9 months or so now. I have seemed to have every problem i can think of while getting it, but i try to keep on trucking. I have had wrong items come in the mail, numerous water leaks, water pump failure, 2 sticks of corsair xms failure, 1 Abit AN7 failure, 1 radeon 9800pro short circuit (well that was actually due to a water leak from 5 months ago), and numerous other things going wrong (misc leds burning out, cd rom failure, etc). I think the thing is cursed or something. All of my other systems seem to work fine and never have any problems. So i though i was getting close lately to finally getting it totally fixed, but im still not there. If you are wondering, i have taken a while due to being busy at school and busy on the phone rma-ing all this crap and trying to get some compensation for my trouble.

So basically i just returned my mobo because i found that it also had broken (i thought my ram was broken; well it was but so was my mobo). Now with the new mobo i am finding my ram is broken once again and ABIT isnt offering any help. I have speant tons of money on shipping the parts back and forth, here and there. Not to mention i have not had my comp working most of the time (when it is working its not at the right fsb) and my parts have depreciated like 2/3 in value during these 9 months and i have barely got to use them! Thank god i have another comp in my room or i would be going crazy.

anyways...just wanted to share my problems with y'all and ask if anyone else has had as many problems at this before with 1 computer?

(i was alone in these problems until my roomate basically broke all his hardware in 2 computers, a monitor, mouse, and keyboard all in less than second, but thats a different story)

Instead of using H2O cooling... try going traditional air cooled to see if your problems go away. If you have leaking hoses, pumps, radiatiors or whatever else could be leaking in that loop, more than likely that is where the root of your problems are deriving from. Are you testing that H2O loop for at LEAST 48 hours before installing hardware? Checking for leaks and coolent level drops?

I've never heard of this much stuff going bad in 1 PC. I've had a few motherboards that kept going out on me a while back, but low and behold they were the Abit KA7-100 series boards with the bad capacitors... (need to send it in for repair now that I'm thinking about it)

my wc system only leaked a while back when i was transporting it (the cpu block fitting leaked)...that in turn must have corroded something on my radeon and broke that eventually. I have nvr had any other problem with that cept for the pump failure, which was within the first week. That runs fine, the rest of the hardware, i cant say the same for
