I have a Belkin Wireless Router that works OK for me. Not great but OK.

Anyhow I have an Xbox in another room that I can NOT run an ethernet cable to, from the router.

So I was looking for something that I could plug into my xbox, that would then wirelessly connect to my router. In other words, the xbox is connected via a short ethernet cable into this magical device. This magical device then connects wirelessly to my existing wireless network.

I don't know if this is a bridge, an access point or a can opener. Well I know it's not the last but you get the jist of my tech level.

I also would like to remain using the better security protocol of WPA which might be a problem as I've seen some blurbs about router to router connections only using WEP.

tks!

Did that already. Unfortunately that doesn't help me since all I really get is the old discontinued MS gaming adapter. Normally I'd look on ebay for that but the problem is that it uses an old form of WEP, which is precisely what I don't want to use for my network.
