I have a Belkin Wireless Router that works OK for me. Not great but OK.
Anyhow I have an Xbox in another room that I can NOT run an ethernet cable to, from the router.
So I was looking for something that I could plug into my xbox, that would then wirelessly connect to my router. In other words, the xbox is connected via a short ethernet cable into this magical device. This magical device then connects wirelessly to my existing wireless network.
I don't know if this is a bridge, an access point or a can opener. Well I know it's not the last but you get the jist of my tech level.
I also would like to remain using the better security protocol of WPA which might be a problem as I've seen some blurbs about router to router connections only using WEP.
tks!
